Blog Details

In an effort to spread some positivity and connect with each other, near and far, we’ve started something at BlueBolt called “Feel Good Fridays" (FGF). On Fridays, we'll ask our team for their thoughts around some fun theme, and share their responses here on our blog. We're hoping this can help us all connect during these uncertain times, and bring some light-hearted fun to those around us.

For our inaugural FGF, we reached out to the team about their tastes in music. Here's what they had to say...

What song brings you back to your childhood and why?

"Anything Def Leppard - It’s what we listened to when I played many hours of street hockey as a kid."

Patrick Wagner, Project Manager

If you were in the MLB, what song would be your “walk-up” song to home plate?

"'Crazy Train' by Ozzy Osborne  - I start off every day before work with this song; I usually listen to it as I am getting on the train to work."

Aaron Shapiro, Director of Client Strategy

What’s your go-to karaoke song?

"'Sk8r Boi' by Avril Lavigne - I mean, who doesn't love old school Avril?! Plus, I am convinced that the conspiracy theory is true."

Erin Wren, Human Resources Specialist; Side note - that conspiracy theory is crazy!

Favorite holiday song?

"No brainer. Mariah Carey, "All I Want For Christmas Is You."  Total jam!"

Ashkan Farhadieh, VP of Business Development

What concert would you love to go to that you haven’t been to yet?

"I'd love to go to a Garth Brooks concert. I grew up listening to him a lot, and I've always heard he's amazing to see live. Plus, I look good in a cowboy hat!"

Jared Faircloth, Business Development Manager

What song fits best with working at BlueBolt?

"'Stronger' by Kanye West. I think the beat and the song pretty much sum up our team's mentality - we are stronger together as both a team and with our awesome clients. Also gotta rep CHI with that Kanye connection!"

Mary Clare Riordan, Director of Marketing

So what do you guys think? What other songs would you add to this list? Let us know! And happy Friday!
